CAW Secretarial Services offers a proofreading service for those wanting a second pair of eyes to check for grammar, spelling, punctuation and formatting errors within a document. I will check consistency in general style (for example, headings are in bold etc.).

Modern day spell checkers are useful, but have their limitations. They are unable to distinguish the correct tense or even whether a word is correct (for example, they would not pick up the difference between "here" and "hear".
